Javlov Vahabov underlined the President of Uzbekistan will pay a state visit to China.

He said that Uzbek President will hold negotiations with the President of China Xi Jinping, members of the State Council of China, as well as management of leading Chinese enterprises and financial institutions.

According to him, the leaders of two states will discuss current state of bilateral relations in the sphere of trade, investments and security. He said that the sides also consider issues of cooperation in culture and humanitarian dimensions.

Vahabov said that the visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to China will help to lift strategic partnership between two states to new level.

Uzbek official underlined that Uzbekistan and China will sign a large package of documents. Currently, number of documents now makes up about 20.

Javlon Vahabov said that economic entities and enterprises of two states will sign many commercial agreements and contracts.

He said that President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) in Beijing. The forum will take place on 14-15 May.

According to Vahabov, the main goal of participation in the forum is to use opportunities, potential and resources of China in developing trade, expanding supply of the Uzbek goods with high added value to China.

He stated that Uzbekistan plans to use existing investment tools, such as Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and Silk Road Fund.

Uzbekistan plans to attract preferential investments and open new credit lines for financing the development of basic branches of the economy of the country.

He said that main priority Uzbekistan pays to development of infrastructure, industry and active attraction of Uzbekistan in the realized transport and communication projects in the region.
