Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Azerbaijan on 5-6 July on a working visit.

Upon the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, he will participate in an informal summit of the Turkic Council, which will be held in the city of Shusha.

The theme of the summit is defined as "Building a Sustainable Future through Transport Connectivity and Climate Change Mitigation."

During the summit, discussions are planned on further expanding multilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, economic, transport and communication, and investment and finance sectors.

Issues related to green economy, renewable energy, climate change, and human capital development will also be addressed.

The heads of delegations will consider important issues on the international and regional agenda.

It is expected that several joint documents will be adopted at the end of the event.
