Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyzstan), on 2 June this year, under the chairmanship of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the Second European Union-Central Asia Summit will be held.

The Summit will be attended by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nurmuhammet Amannepesov and President of the European Council Charles Michel.

The current state and prospects of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two regions will be discussed, and an exchange of views on topical issues on the international agenda and interaction between the states of Central Asia and the European Union will take place.

In addition, President Sadyr Japarov will hold bilateral meetings with heads of delegations.
