Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 13 to 16 January 2025, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will embark on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The visit’s agenda includes key meetings and events in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

In Abu Dhabi, the Uzbek President will hold bilateral talks with the UAE President and meet with the leadership of major government bodies, top companies, and financial institutions. Furthermore, Mirziyoyev will participate in the "Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week" summit, underscoring Uzbekistan’s commitment to sustainable development and green energy.

In Dubai, a meeting with the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is planned. Discussions will focus on deepening strategic partnership and enhancing ties in areas such as investments, innovation, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and tourism.

Special attention will be given to cultural and humanitarian exchanges, along with the discussion of pressing international and regional issues.

The visit is expected to culminate in the signing of several important agreements, laying the groundwork for expanded cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE across various sectors.
