Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On the celebration of Eid al Adha”.

According to the decision, 16 June will be celebrated in Uzbekistan as the Eid al-Adha holiday, since the first day of the holiday falls on Sunday, 16 June 2024.

Due to the first day of Eid al-Adha falling on a holiday, this holiday will be moved to Monday, 17  June and Tuesday 18 June will be an additional holiday for all employees.

Local governments, responsible ministries and departments take appropriate measures to celebrate Eid al Adha in accordance with the national traditions and customs of our people, create favorable conditions and opportunities for our compatriots to organize pilgrimages to shrines and historical places on the days of Eid al Adha.
