Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for St. Petersburg on 25 December. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

As part of the working visit, the President of Uzbekistan will take part in an informal summit of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

During the upcoming event, the leaders of the Commonwealth countries will discuss the main results of the past year and consider issues of further expanding multilateral cooperation within the CIS.
