Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 December, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a phone conversation with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

During the conversation, the President of Uzbekistan expressed his deep condolences to the President of Azerbaijan in connection with the tragic crash of a passenger aircraft near the city of Aktau, which resulted in numerous casualties.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev conveyed sincere words of sympathy and support to the families and loved ones of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to all those injured.
