Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Astana on an official visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

At the capital’s international airport, the Uzbek leader was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and other senior officials.

During the visit, President Mirziyoyev will participate in the upcoming summit in the “Central Asia – China” format. Bilateral talks are also scheduled with the President of the People's Republic of China.
