Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 April, within the framework of the first "Central Asia – EU" summit, a meeting took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union.

During the conversation, issues related to the organization of an interregional summit and a climate forum, scheduled for April 4, were discussed.
