Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Sharifbek Shamsiddinovich Khasanov has been appointed as the Director of the Waste Management and Circular Economy Agency under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.

The relevant decree was signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Sharifbek Khasanov was born in 1990 in the Bukhara region. In 2013, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, and in 2015, he earned a Master's degree from the University of Surrey, UK.

Before his appointment, Khasanov worked in the Accounting Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Cabinet of Ministers, and various other government agencies.
