Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Youth World Athletics Championships recently concluded in Peru, where Uzbek athlete Sharifa Davronova secured victory in the triple jump, earning her second gold medal at world championships. Davronova delivered an impressive performance, jumping 13.75 meters.

It's worth noting that two years ago, she also won a gold medal at the U20 World Junior Championships in Colombia.

Another Uzbek athlete, Barnokhon Saifullayeva, participated in the high jump competition. Despite matching her personal best with a jump of 1.84 meters, she was unable to secure a place among the medalists, finishing in sixth place.
