Sharif Khalilov receives car, money prize
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A ceremony of honouring participants of London Paralympics was held at Olympic Glory Museum in Tashkent on 21 September 2012.

Ten athletes from Uzbekistan participated at the London Paralympics in such sports as judo, athletics, swimming and powerlifting.

Judoka Sharif Khalilov won an only medal of the London Paralympics. He won silver medal of the Games, which became maiden medal of Uzbekistan in Paralympics.

Kiril Pankov set Asian records at the Men's 100m Butterfly and Men's 100m Backstroke competition at the Games.

During the ceremony, Sharif Khalilov was handed over US$75,000 and Lacetti car. He also received three-room flat in Bukhara.

The Government also awarded a group of athletes and coaches with money prizes.
