Adopted measures on further support of small and private businesses helped to increase number of registered small entrepreneurs by 3.1% in January-September 2010.

The volume of loans, issued by banks to small and private businesses, made up 2.134 trillion soums in the reporting period, which is up 1,5 times year-on-year. The volume of microcredits rose 1.6 times to 418.2 billion soums.

In the result of 9 months of 2010, share of small business in GDP reached 48.5%, industry – 18.7%, employment – 74.4%. At the same time, the growth of industrial production in small business made up 24.1%.
