Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan judo team secured their first medals of the year at international competitions.

On the first day of the Paris Grand Slam tournament, Uzbek judokas won a gold and a bronze medal.

Shakhram Akhadov, competing in the 73 kg weight category, won the gold medal.

Additionally, Bakhram Boturov, a young judoka, claimed a bronze medal in his debut at this level of competition, competing in the 60 kg weight category.
