Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Seven citizens of Uzbekistan died as a result of a traffic accident in Penza region of Russia.
The tragedy occurred around 03:00 (local time) on the 504th kilometer of the M-5 Ural highway.
The driver of a JAC minivan, moving towards Moscow, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Volvo truck.
As a result of the incident, seven citizens of Uzbekistan were killed, RIA Novosti reports, citing data from the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
Currently, employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan are in contact with the relatives of the victims and are taking measures to organize the transportation of their bodies to their homeland.
