Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Seven banks of Uzbekistan are issuing Uzcard-UnionPay cobaging cards.

At the moment, Aloqabank, Turkistonbank, Qishlok Qurilish Bank, Agrobank, Microcreditbank, Hamkorbank and Hulk Bank are issuing Uzcard-UnionPay cobaging cards.

UnionPay International payment cards are accepted in more than 170 countries of the world, in particular, in more than 1.1 million ATMs and 12 million merchants. The total issuance of cards exceeded 5 billion, thanks to such indicators, UnionPay International managed to take first place, ahead of other payment systems.

Cobaging cards have several advantages:

• the use of cobaging cards in the infrastructures of integrated payment systems;
• the ability to use a plastic card outside of their own country, where they serve UnionPay International cardholders.
• the card holder can enjoy the privileges of each payment system, using only one plastic;
• integrated payment systems increase their competitive advantages, which creates more opportunities for a co-ruled card holder.
