Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to further expand trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, and effectively implement the agreements reached at the highest-level negotiations, the delegation of the Uzcharmsanoat association also visited the Republic of Dagestan on a working trip.

First Deputy Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association Akbar Sultanov held negotiations with large manufacturing enterprises and trading companies. In particular, at a meeting held at the Dagestan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an exchange of views took place on establishing trade and economic ties between enterprises. During the meeting, we agreed to organize mutual business missions.

The Dagestan company SERG is interested in the production of footwear products in Uzbekistan. The prospects for implementing joint projects were discussed during negotiations with the company’s management. Preliminary agreements have also been reached on outsourcing work. To do this, the Dagestan company will visit the exhibition in Tashkent and hold negotiations with Uzbek enterprises.

The Dagestan company FERZ, which produces men's shoes, is also interested in entering Uzbekistan. During the negotiations, proposals were made to establish cooperation and transfer part of the company’s production to our country. It was decided to continue negotiations at the end of this month as part of an exhibition in Tashkent.
