The reports said that Liu Yunshan, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, left China on Monday for a good-will visit to Uzbekistan.

Liu, also a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, was visiting at the invitation of the Uzbekistani government.
