Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The fifty-fourth plenary session of the Senate discussed the Law “On Administrative Procedures.”
The law aims to regulate relations in the field of administrative procedures related to the adoption, amendment, execution, and repeal of administrative acts. The primary tasks of the law are outlined clearly to facilitate understanding and application.
The scope of the law has been expanded to include tax and customs procedures, state control and supervision, pension provision for citizens, military registration and conscription, urban planning, and the allocation and withdrawal of land plots.
New principles were added to the law, such as the prohibition of arbitrariness and abuse of power, and the inadmissibility of refusal to apply the law. Clear and comprehensive definitions of the existing principles were also provided, contributing to improved legal practice.
The adoption of the law serves to clearly establish relations between individuals, legal entities, and state bodies, protecting their rights and legitimate interests from unlawful actions by state officials. The law also aims to create a unified mechanism for administrative procedures.
The law was approved by the senators.
