The senators are expected to consider the role and responsibility of the local authorities in implementing the Anti-crisis program for 2009-2012, as well as a number of laws.

Among the laws are those on obligatory insurance of the employer’s civil liability, on introducing changes in the laws on standardization, postal services, technical regulation and others.

The members of the Senate will also listen to the reports of the Prosecutor-general, the chairman of the State committee for nature protection and the Ombudsman.

The Kengash considered the information of the Senate committees on the readiness for the plenary session, the press service of the parilament’s upper chamber said.
