Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The fifty-ninth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis is scheduled for 23 October 2024.

On 21 October 2024, the next meeting of the Senate Council was held, during which the decision to convene the plenary session was made.

The agenda will include several important issues, such as draft laws related to the telecommunications sector, sericulture, the activities of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the operational activities of the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, as well as amendments to the Tax and Customs Codes, the Criminal Procedure Code, and the Code of Administrative Responsibility. Additionally, the ratification of several documents from international organizations is planned.
