Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the plenary meeting of the Senate, the Law “On the Ratification of the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks (Singapore, on 27 March 2006)” was considered.

The purpose of the Singapore Treaty is to ensure effective protection of trademark rights in various countries and regional organizations.

The Treaty was adopted on 27 March 2006 and has currently been ratified by more than 50 countries around the world.

During the discussion, it was noted that the document establishes the rules for registering and filing applications for trademarks, procedures for amending license agreements, the validity period of registration and other aspects.
