Senate improves mechanism of Uzbekistan and foreign states competitive bodies’ cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan considered a law “On introduction of changes and amendments to the Criminal procedure code of Uzbekistan in connection with interaction of courts, prosecutors, investigators and inquest bodies with competitive bodies of the foreign states”.

Senators noted that the law will help to improve legal mechanism of cooperation between competitive bodies of Uzbekistan and foreign states on rendering mutual legal aid on criminal cases, including in extradition and criminal prosecution.

The law also directed at protecting citizens’ rights, suffered from crimes. Senators approved the document.
