Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 July, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Sodik Safoyev, held a meeting with a U.S. delegation led by Major General Janson Boyles, Commander of the Mississippi National Guard.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations were discussed, including issues related to addressing common challenges and security threats in Central Asia.

An agreement was reached to continue strengthening bilateral ties and developing mutually beneficial relations.
