Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation led by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva currently on an official visit to China, held a meeting with Shen Yiqin, Chairwoman of the All-China Women’s Federation.

At the beginning of the meeting, the historical friendship between the two countries and the mutual cooperation that has been advancing year by year were discussed. The importance of implementing key agreements reached between the heads of state was also emphasized.

The parties focused on issues related to ensuring the active participation of women in society and the state, encompassing all sectors of the economy, as well as strengthening friendly ties between Uzbekistan and China.

In this context, there was an exchange of views on the implementation of cooperation programs and active sharing of experiences. The discussion also included continuing joint programs with China in the fields of maternal and child health, as well as organizing training sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of active women.
