Senate approves law on reforming agriculture, water use
Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan reviewed a Law “On introduction changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with deepening of economic reforms and in agriculture and water management”.
The law was developed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan in line with the state Programme “The Year of Development and Well-Being of Village”.
The law introduces changes and amendments to several laws of Uzbekistan, directed at improving efficiency of water use and land conditions and its fertility, introduction of energy saving technologies and increasing the size of minimal land area for farmers.
The Senators approved the law.
