Senate approves law on “On burial and funeral business”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved a law “On burial and funeral business”, which was initiated by Prosecutor General’s Office in Uzbekistan.
Senators noted that the law is directed at formation of legal bases on burial and funeral business, establishing guarantees on burial and organization of funerals, as well as regulating violations in this sphere.
The adaptation of the law will allow to harmonize national legislation of burial and funeral businesses with international standards.
