The law was approved at the Eighth session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, which kicked off in Tashkent on 23 March 2012.

Senators underlined that family business is important part of small and private business and the law will create legal base for its development and strengthen legal guarantee for family entrepreneurship.

The document ensures legal conditions for developing family entrepreneurship in various sectors of economy and opening new jobs in the country.
