Uzbekistan’s GDP grows by 9.8% in Jan-Sep 2007

The gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan increased by 9.8% year-on-year to 18.23 trillion soums, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.

Small businesses produce 43.1% of Uzbekistan’s GDP in 3Q

Small businesses in Uzbekistan produced 43.1% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) in January-September 2007, the Uzbek State Statistic Committee said. It added that the small business sector manufactured 39% in the same period of 2006.
