On 18-19 April 2013, Tashkent hosted the first specialized International Uzbek Tourism Fair “The World of Leisure” (IUTF). IUTF was held in 2013 with the support of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Ministry of Culture and Sports Affairs of Uzbekistan, the Association of Private Tourism Organisations and Uzexpocentre.
Uzbekistan participated at the China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market (COTTM) exhibition, which was held in Beijing, Jahon news agency reported.
Tashkent hosted Festival of National Pilaf “Osh Bayrami” for the first time as part of the “World of Leisure” Exhibition second day. Its aim was to gather and demonstrate all national features of the main dish of Uzbek cuisine.
