Second Korean songs contest to be held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan will hold the second contest of Korean songs at Turkiston Palace on 23 August 2013 to expand cultural exchange between two nations.

The preliminary stage of the contest will be held on 14 August and 15 groups, which successfully pass qualification round, will advance to the finals.

The winners will qualify to 2013 K-POP WORLD FESTIVAL, which will be held in South Korea. The festival will be held in October 2013.

Within the contest, it is planned to hold Korean photo exhibition. It is also planned to broadcast contest in South Korean TV.
