Second digital television transmitter installed at Tashkent TV Tower
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Specialists of the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Radio Communication, Radio Broadcasting and Television” completed assembly and testing of the second digital television transmitter at the Tashkent TV Tower.
From 16 June 2010, the number of broadcasted TV programmes in digital standard of DVB-T reached to 25, the enterprise said.
It added that TV programmes condists of 4 state programmes and 21 popular foreign programmes, including Luxe TV HD, which broadcasted at HDTV (High Definition TV) standard.
