Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 2024, Uzbekistan will introduce seasonal restrictions on the movement of trucks, road trains and trailers during high-temperature seasons. In addition, the President ordered the development of rules for the movement of trucks and trailers weighing more than 44 tons on the roads.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to develop a resolution within two months to regulate traffic on the roads and import of trucks and trailers of categories N3 and O4 (with the exception of special vehicles and mining dump trucks) with a total permissible laden weight of more than 44 tons.

In particular, the document should stipulate the introduction of separate license plates and registration certificates for such vehicles and registration in a unified electronic system, as well as the rules for the movement of such vehicles and permission to travel on public roads for a fee.

Moreover, it is planned to introduce payments and collection procedures for violation of these rules and damage to roads.
