The make-up of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s (SCO) energy club has not been negotiated in detail thus far, Chang Xuhong, a senior expert on the SCO Secretariat, said at the Euro-Asia Economic Forum in Xian, the capital city of China’s northwestern province of Shaanxi, according to Chinese media.

The expert confirmed at the same time, that the SCO member-states have a big stake in promoting comprehensive cooperation in various energy sectors, including nuclear energy, Interfax reported.
