During the talks, the participants discussed issues on improving activity of the SCO and its bodies, further development of cooperation in politics, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres among the member states.
The sides also considered strengthening of regional security and stability, joint fight against terrorism, regional extremism and separatism, illegal drug trafficking and weapon turnover, situation in Afghanistan.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization unites Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan.
