Briefing the media persons on the Foreign Ministers meeting of the SCO members that held on 25 July in Dushanbe, Mr. Bolat said it rated positively the efforts of the host state to ensure successful staging of the summit.
The Foreign Ministers meeting noted with satisfaction that in the past year the task and decisions of the previous summit in Bishkek was successful fulfilled.
"Fruitful work has been done to deepen and expand multifaceted cooperation in the fields of security, politics, economy and culture?, he observed.
The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of SCO, he said acknowledged the expediency of speeding up the creation of a SCO partner dialogue mechanism and establishment of contacts with the states and international organizations showing interest in the Organization.
The Dushanbe’s Foreign Ministers meeting also focused on the interaction with Afghanistan, particularly the issue of increasing the activity of the SCO-Afghanistan Contact Group, he said.
The SCO composed the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People of Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan who are the members of the organization, while Pakistan, Iran, India and Mangolia have the status of observers.
