The event will focus on developing road, rail and air transport cooperation, putting into operation new transport infrastructure, launching new projects and creating a common transport system within the SCO.
The ministers will also discuss the implementation of the Agreement between the governments of the SCO member states on International Road Transportation Facilitation and the development of the draft SCO Programme on Coordinated Motorway Development.
The meeting will bring together 17 national delegations headed by ministers of the SCO member states, observer states and dialogue partners, as well as heads of regional international organisations and interstate integrated groups, including ASEAN, UNESCAP and the CIS.
