Participants will consider realization of plan on multilateral trade-economic cooperation of the SCO member-states, which was signed by the heads of the governments in October 2008 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The sides will also discuss perspectives of development of cooperation in agriculture, healthcare, insurance, transport and logistics, as well as education.
It is expected that the sides will discuss perspectives of implementation of multilateral projects.
Founded in 2001, the SCO, a regional organization that groups China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, aims to enhance security, trade, cultural, military and judicial cooperation among its members.
The SCO Business Council was founded in 2006 in Shanghai, China. It unites representatives of ministries of economic block of the SCO member-states.
