Representatives of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated in the session, the report said.

The Council approved the report about its activity in 2007 for the Council of SCO heads of states. Proposals and recommendations for the year 2008 were considered.

Implementation of joint actions to ensure security of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing were also considered.

The Council approved a number of decisions related to combating terrorism, separatism and extremism.
