Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 November, a road traffic accident involving schoolboys occurred in Namangan Region, as reported by the press service of the regional State Traffic Safety Department.
The incident took place around 10:00 AM on Amir Temur Street in Namangan. A ninth-grade student from a private school, along with a friend, rented a Lacetti car for 150,000 soums for two hours and set out on a major road at 09:00 AM.
The schoolboy lost control of the vehicle, causing the car to spin sharply and collide with a tree on the roadside.
Authorities held a discussion with the offender’s father, urging him to monitor his son’s behavior more closely and to oversee his school attendance.
