School 21 programming school opened a campus in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The School 21 programming school, created by Sberbank, opened its first foreign campus in Uzbekistan.

The school began work in Samarkand. This school provides free training to any candidate over 18 years of age in the field of information technology (IT). The first qualifying intensive has already begun in Samarkand, in which 212 people are participating.

The school’s curriculum includes practical tasks, the development of strong soft skills and soft skills, which are considered important for modern IT specialists.

The mandatory three-month internship at School 21 represents an important learning curve during which participants must apply their acquired knowledge in practice. By this point, the participants had already mastered several programming languages, including C and C++ as fundamental languages, as well as one of seven applied languages: Java, C Sharp, GO, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift. They also have skills in database (SQL), DevOps, engineering, operating systems and networking. These competencies make them ready for employment in various companies in the information technology field.

Project participants who successfully completed the internship have knowledge of three programming languages, can work with databases and have skills in DevOps, engineering, operating systems and networks.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and President and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank German Gref toured the campus. They also discussed the effectiveness of training highly qualified specialists for the development of the republic’s economy and talked with participants in the qualifying intensive.
