During the first day of the visit, the delegation visited several ministries to hold talks with local officials and viewed with architectural sight of Tashkent city.

The Saudi delegation received economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan, large investment projects, implemented in Uzbekistan with foreign partners, including Arab world.

In interview with Jahon news agency, Prince Halid bin Saud bin Halid al Saud said that Saudi Arabia considers Uzbekistan as one of reliable partners in Central Asia.

Saudi official said that Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia should boost exchange visits of officials to further develop cooperation between the states. He said that the current visit is aimed at opening new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. He added that the Saudi side pays attention to development of trade-economic relations.

Prince Halid bin Saud bin Halid al Saud said that the development of trade-economic relations will promote development of cooperation in other sectors.

He said that considering dynamics of economic development of Uzbekistan, the country will become one of the industrially developed countries in the world.
