Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The new Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sardor Rustambaev presented his credentials to the President of India Draupadi Murmu, Dunyo news agency reported.

After the official ceremony, a conversation took place where the state and prospects for further development of multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and India were discussed.

The President of India expressed high respect and sincere wishes to the President of Uzbekistan, and also wished the leadership and people of our country peace, development and prosperity.

It was noted that regular high-level meetings confirm the strong political will and determination of both countries to strengthen multifaceted cooperation, which will take the strategic partnership to a new level.

The belief was expressed in the existence of enormous potential and mutual desire to actively increase cooperation in various fields, including political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian.

The current state of bilateral interaction was highly appreciated, and confidence in the further development of mutually beneficial relations was expressed.
