Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sarah Walsh has been appointed Ambassador of New Zealand to Uzbekistan. The diplomat was received today by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov noted that he was pleased to meet with the newly appointed Ambassador of New Zealand to Uzbekistan Sarah Walsh.

Sarah Walsh presented her credentials to the head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed how to reduce the distance between the two countries by exploring new and promising areas of fruitful cooperation from innovative agriculture to green energy.

“We wish Madam Ambassador every success in realizing the enormous potential of our bilateral relations,” noted Bakhtiyor Saidov.
