Representatives of higher education institutions and companies of Uzbekistan, as well as SAP partners are participating in the five-day event.

The event was opened with a roundtable with participation of the representatives of the academic and business community of Uzbekistan. During the roundtable, the participants discussed issues of training IT specialists on the basis of the Uzbek universities and plans for further development.

From 8 August, the participants of the summer school-seminar will take part in trainings on the SAP ERP solution.

The training will take place on the SAP ERP system version 6.07 with the GBI data set. GBI is a data set of the model company Global Bike Inc. It is designed specifically for universities, participating in the SAP University Alliance and is characterized by a good level of detail in description of processes and transparency of the data. The system implements the processes corresponding to the modules: FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, PS, HR, CS.

Faculty members of Inha University in Tashkent are also participating in the event.

It should be recalled that Inha University in Tashkent and SAP reached agreement on creation of SAP Academy in the campus of the university. The SAP Academy will conduct various courses on SAP solutions for future and current IT specialists.

IUT Rector Sarvar Babakhodjaev said: “We are pleased to cooperate with one of market leaders in enterprise application software. The SAP Academy, which will be launched at IUT, will train specialists, who will participate in introduction of SAP solutions in various sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan”.
