Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sanoat Qurilish Bank signed a number of agreements in the amount of 71.6 million USD with foreign partners during the Uzbekistan Economic Forum.

In particular, Sanoat Qurilish Bank (SQB) and ICBC Standard Bank (United Kingdom) signed an Agreement on the provision of a credit line in favor of SQB in the amount of USD 25 million, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding providing for the development and strengthening of relations between banks in the areas of international settlements, treasury operations, trade and project finance, as well as the organization of training courses, seminars, trainings and internship programs for SQB employees.

In order to expand funding opportunities in the field of trade finance, the SQB signed an agreement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) "On the provision of a revolving credit line" in the amount of 16.6 million USD and a Framework Agreement on Trade Finance with OJSC "AK BARS" Bank (Russian Federation) in the amount of 30 million USD.

The signing of these documents will allow SQB through an extensive network of its branches located in all regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan to provide financial resources for the most demanded projects of business entities, including small and medium-sized businesses, contributing to the achievement of their goals.

It is worth noting that the ongoing systematic and purposeful work of SQB to expand partnerships with international financial institutions and banks became possible thanks to the latest reforms in the banking and financial sector of the republic in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 05/12/2020 "On the strategy of reforming the banking system of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2025" and a corresponding increase and strengthening of the level of confidence on the part of international investors.
