Sanoat Energetika Guruhi sums up results of three quarters of 2022

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sanoat Energetika Guruhi is fulfilling the planned tasks to increase oil production in Uzbekistan in full.

PRODUCTION

One of the largest oil and gas companies in Uzbekistan, Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (SEG), produced 404,631 tons of oil in the first three quarters, which is 8% higher than the same indicator of the previous year.

The main drivers of growth in the first nine months are the commissioning of 10 new wells from drilling into commercial operation, as well as geological and technical activities carried out at 159 wells from Andijan to Ustyurt. Separately, projects were implemented to increase oil production at the Chegara, Sardob, Sarikum, Yangi Karatepa, Mingbulak, Sharkiy and Garbiy Toshli fields.

The company’s specialists were also able to achieve an increase in average daily production. As of 9 months of 2022, the indicator reached 1482 tons of oil per day. The figures for the same period last year were at the level of 1371 tons. Thus, the increase in daily production amounted to more than 8%.

For the first three quarters of the year, 43 wells were put into operation from liquidation, while for the same period last year this figure was only 13 wells.

SALES

The company continued to diversify its portfolio of orders in the third quarter of this year. In total, over 103,000 tons of diesel fuel, 96,000 tons of gasoline, 25,000 tons of bitumen were delivered to the company’s customers over 9 months. The company significantly increased the production of petroleum oils, bringing the figure to 18 thousand tons, while mastering the production of oils according to the international API standard.

To date, contracts for the supply of the company’s products have been concluded with 900 customers. Including - 887 in the domestic market and 13 - outside the Republic of Uzbekistan. Among foreign companies, the following can be noted: "Centrum Parafiny" (Poland), "DYM Resources" (Germany), "Duato Corporation" (Great Britain), "HILL" (Kazakhstan), "AZIA OIL", "Elite Tichorat" (Tajikistan ), "Tecza Energia" (Poland).

SAFETY

Safe work and compliance with international standards in the field of industrial safety, labor protection and ecology are the key value of the company. During the first 9 months of this year, not a single significant incident was allowed at the production site.

In order to assess working conditions at workplaces, as well as to identify harmful and (or) hazardous production factors and take measures to bring working conditions in line with state regulatory requirements for labor protection, more than 1,500 workplaces were attested during the reporting period.

Also, within the reporting period, the company regulated certain business processes aimed at protecting the environment of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The “Policy in the field of ecology and environmental protection. In addition, together with the State Committee for Ecology, the “Strategic Plan for Ensuring Environmental Safety and Achieving Sustainable Development Goals at the Facilities”, “Action Plan for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biological Diversity during Work at the Facilities”, as well as the “Guidance Document for waste management".

In September, on the eve of the World Cleanup Day, environmental campaigns were held at all CCIs, in which more than 300 employees took part. During the reporting period, 3 joint exercises and training events were held with the executive services.

More than 3,000 free medical examinations were conducted for the company’s employees in order to identify the initial forms of occupational diseases, early signs of the impact of harmful and (or) hazardous production factors on the health of employees.

CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION

Under the Capital Construction of Fixed Assets program, at the end of the third quarter of this year, the construction of 92 facilities was completed and investments in the amount of 593,99 billion soums were disbursed, which is 90% of the planned figures for 9 months of 2022. Compared to the same period in 2021, the growth in the construction of new funds amounted to 27%.

As part of the implementation of the program "Overhaul of fixed assets", the repair of 152 facilities was completed, in the amount of 30.04 billion soums, 85% of the planned indicators were disbursed in 9 months. As a result of the qualitative support of the current state of fixed assets, there is a decrease in the overhaul of fixed assets by 19%.

The Company will continue to actively implement programs both to create new fixed assets and to maintain the current ones in good condition.

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

During the first 9 months, the company implemented a number of activities aimed at attracting young professionals, as well as staff development. More than 593 million soums were invested in this area during the reporting period.

As part of the continuous process of personnel development in the company, more than 430 people have already been trained at the training ground in Karshi in various specialties and their own team of teachers has been formed. Thus, more than 60% of oil and gas production operators have already been trained in conditions that are as close to real as possible.

For 9 months, training and advanced training was also carried out for more than 500 employees directly on the job at the fields, in such areas as: “Development of oil fields”, “Industrial safety”, “Personnel management”, “Well oil production”, “ Anti-fountain and gas safety", "Conducting a component analysis of samples of feed and boiler water", "Safe operation of gas facilities", "Safe operation of steam and hot water boilers", "Slinger", "Safe work in wells in fields with a high content of hydrogen sulfide" , "Transportation of dangerous goods", "Operation, repair and maintenance of diesel power plants", "Environmental protection" and others.

The number of employees as of 1 January 2022 was 3244 people, as of 1 July - 3346 people and as of 1 September  - 3445. The company continues to attract specialists in order to fulfill the indicators of the program to increase oil production, implemented in accordance with the orders of the leadership of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
