Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 September, the British premiere of renowned composer and pianist Kirill Richter’s multimedia show "Sands of Time" took place at London’s Coliseum. Throughout the concert, the stage transformed into a living, ever-changing work of art.
The audience gave a standing ovation to The Richter Trio, which includes Kirill Richter (piano), Alena Zinovyeva (violin), and August Krepak (cello). The National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, conducted by Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, also participated in the concert.
According to the press service of the Fund, the program featured selected works by Richter, including pieces from his debut album "Chronos," as well as anthems composed for the World Cup and the Olympic Games.
The impressive concert event, which combined music, poetry, visual effects, and video installations, was presented in London with the support of the Fund for the Development of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan.
