Uzbekistan claimed the first victory in the Group H of the second joint qualification round of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 AFC Asian Cup.

After the match, Babayan said that he thinks that fans enjoyed the match. He said he is pity that Uzbekistan scored only one goal in the match. He said Uzbekistan faces huge work, especially in attacking lines.

Babayan noted that Uzbekistan will face important match against Philippines. He said that team will have five days to prepare the match and it is enough time to analyze mistakes and make corresponding conclusions.

Yemen head coach Ali Hussein congratulated Uzbekistan with victory and said that his team lost to one of the strongest teams of the continent.

He said he would be satisfied with even draw result, but the goal from free-kick ruined this chance. He added that he satisfied with performance of the team. Hussain noted that team is not able to conduct preparations due to civil war in the country.
