He said that Samsung considers Uzbekistan as a perspective strategic partner, Jahon news agency reported.

He noted that Uzbekistan has great potential for growth. Uzbekistan has modern and diversified industry and soon capacities on production of modern electronics can be created. He said that the electronics can be exported to regional markets.

Samsung official said that Samsung Electronics adopted the strategic decision on creation of full circle of production of modern home appliances in Uzbekistan with transfer of know-how and advanced technological developments.

As reported earlier, Samsung and Artel signed a long-term contract on launch of production of split systems (air conditioners) at existing production premises of Artel. The sides also are planning to launch production of personal LED monitors in Uzbekistan.
